XUANNI (UK)

Xuanni, čínská producentka působící na Londýnské alternativně elektronické scéně, v rámci svého evropského tour zavítá do Brna. Improvizace je základním prvkem jejích živých vystoupení. Žádný počítač, jen analogové zdroje zvuku. Xuanni obaluje pevnou rytmickou kostru svých kompozic noisovými a 8-bit texturami. 

CYRIL KAPLAN

Cyril Kaplan, známý jako člen kapel Vložte kočku nebo Mutanti hledaj východisko v Kafaře představí svojí solovou tvorbu. Jeho loňské debutové EP This Is What Dancefl00r I5 4 vycházelo z disko kořenů současné elektroniky a akcentovalo písňovou strukturu. Jeho nejnovější tvorba, připravované album bicích miniatur This Is My Space, se soustředí na rytmus a flow. V Brně Cyril zahraje nový materiál pro bicí a efekty i několik skladeb ze svého debutu.

XUANNI (UK)
London-based Cantonese composer, producer and noise artist Xuanni arrives in Brno as part of her European tour. Her dawless live sets translate physical gesture directly into sound — Digitakt, Nintendo 3DS, no-input mixer — unstable feedback colliding with rhythmic noise, 8-bit fragments and gabber pressure. Her work has been presented at venues such as the Barbican and broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Expect intensity, precision and raw electronic tactility.

Joining her is Cyril Kaplan — musician, producer and researcher known for merging live drumming with analog electronics. Following his debut solo EP This Is What Dancefl00r I5 4, he presents brand new material live for the first time — more minimal, rhythm-focused and direct. Drums. Synths. Voice.
